Folder/branch pickers now render at the top of the input's rounded box
instead of a separate strip above it. Restyled as xs outlined buttons
matching the config selectors, always rendering the folder picker
chevron (dimmed when not editable). Removed the right-side commit/push
git action buttons and their unused imports. Scoped the bar to its
owning tab via a tabId prop so tile mode shows each tab's own folder
and disabled state independent of which tab is globally active.
Both the inline autocomplete (triggered by `/` in the textarea) and the
dropdown popup (triggered by the slash-command button) now show a search
field at the top. Matching uses substring on name and description, and
ranks name matches above description/id-only matches.
Replace the legacy folder + welcome routes with a unified /workspace route
that hosts all folders, conversations, tabs, and terminals in one window.
- Persist opened tabs to the database (opened_tabs entity + migration)
so tab layout survives restarts and deep-link bootstrap restores state
- Replace FolderContext shim with AppWorkspaceProvider, ActiveFolderProvider,
and TabProvider; expose both opened (folders) and full DB (allFolders)
listings via list_all_folder_details
- Return conversations across all non-deleted folders from list_all when
no folder filter is given, so the sidebar can show every folder's history

CRUD for skills now operates against the selected scope and folder.
- Default the settings right panel to a placeholder hint; the new-skill
form only appears after clicking "New Skill" or selecting an existing
skill. Search input is hidden in folder scope.
- Disable "New Skill" when folder scope has no folder chosen; show a
pick-folder hint in the path preview for that state.
- Add scope/noSelectionHint/pickFolderHint strings across 10 locales.
Memoize ChatInput to minimize unnecessary updates in the chat input area during frequent parent renders.
Compute localized Claude API retry banner text lazily and only when retry state is present.
Enable raw Claude SDK forwarding for ACP sessions and emit only system/api_retry events to the frontend.
Show a localized single-line retry banner with loading under the conversation input, including error details and retry progress.
Drop text-primary/80 from expert dropdown icons and text-primary from
mode/config selector trigger buttons so they inherit the default
foreground color and transition naturally with themed hover states.

- Session-page connect never triggers download/install; returns
SdkNotInstalled immediately and prompts the user to install from
Agent Settings instead
- Binary agents now accept any cached version via
find_best_cached_binary_for_agent so stale caches still connect
- Bound Initialize handshake with a 60s timeout and convert it to
AcpError::InitializeTimeout via a sentinel in run_connection
- Spawn background task owns ConnectionManager map insertion and
removes the entry on exit through an RAII guard that survives
panics, preventing leaked stale entries
- AcpError gains SdkNotInstalled and InitializeTimeout variants plus
a stable code() identifier; AcpEvent::Error carries code so the

Track the slash trigger position so the menu can open after prose, then
splice only the slash token on selection instead of clobbering the whole
input. Also scroll the highlighted row into view when keyboard navigation
moves past the popup viewport.

The Codex $ prefix autocomplete now lists skills from
acp_list_agent_skills (excluding ids that match built-in experts), while
experts remain reachable via the dedicated Sparkles button. Non-Codex
agents are unchanged and still show only their native ACP commands on
the / trigger.

Change Codex skill storage to use only ~/.codex/skills/ instead of
~/.agents/skills/, and never disable the expert skills button so users
can always access the empty-state hint. Also fix stale expert list in
conversation window after linking in the separate settings window by
re-fetching on window focus.

Expert skills in the chat session were derived by intersecting built-in
experts with ACP availableCommands, which caused Codex experts to never
appear since Codex does not advertise skills through ACP.
- Add `experts_list_for_agent` backend API that checks symlink status
across all global skill dirs for the given agent type
- Replace availableCommands-based expert filtering with symlink-based
query, making the settings page the single source of truth
- Use `$` prefix for Codex expert skills while keeping `/` for slash
commands and other agents' experts
- Disable the expert button when no experts are linked for the agent
- Invalidate per-agent expert cache after link/unlink in settings

Support typing "@" in the chat input to trigger a file list popup with
filtering, keyboard navigation, and file/directory attachment. Directories
from the sidebar file tree now attach as resource links instead of injecting
text into the input.
